Hello Spellbinders fans! Yana is here sharing a simple Mother’s Day card.
I often like to die cut shapes out of white cardstock and use various mediums to color them. Today I’m creating floral and succulent clusters and using my alcohol markers to add shading to die cuts to make them look more realistic. If you don’t have alcohol markers you can always use watercolors, pencils or even your ink pads (and ink blending tools!) to add bits of color to your die cut images.
I’m working with a fun and trendy Succulent Garden die set and combining it with an older Grateful Lattice die to create a Mother’s Card. I’ve actually made several of these and I will be donating them to a nursing home for elderly to comfort them on Mother’s Day.
