Frayed Posies Celebrations Card

Hi It’s Christina here and today I am going to make a really easy card that would suit any celebration you may have. This is a 5×7″ card and the background is embossed so the flower stands out more.

Spellbinders Supplies:
S6-001 5×7 Matting Basics A
S6-002 5×7 Matting Basics B
SEL-006 Tammy Tutterow Horsehair embossing folder
SCS-004 Celebrations Many Words
S4-619 Tammy Tutterow Frayed Posies
PL-001 Platinum™ Die Cutting and Embossing Machine – 8.5″ Platform

Preferred Partners:
Want2Scrap©: Frilly Flourish

Other supplies:
Ribbon; Flower Centre; White/Pink Cardstock; Guipure Lace

From Matting Basics A Die #7 (the smallest die size is #1), cut two pieces in white and create a hinged card

From Matting Basics B Die #7, cut a colored panel

From Matting Basics A Die #6 cut another white panel and dry emboss

Stamp “Celebrate” from the stamp set onto white card and heat emboss.

Cut fishtails into the end and layer it onto some more of the coloured card.

Add foam tape to the back but don’t add it to the card yet

Cut several layers to your flower from the two dies and curl the petals with a shaping tool

Ink the edges with a matching ink and layer the petals together

Select a pretty flourish and cut it up to get the shape and size that you need for your card front.

Arrange the Flourish, Lace, Ribbon and bow onto your embossed panel and glue the ends on the back. This neatly hides the workings

Layer onto your coloured card.

Add them all to your base card.

Put the sentiment banner at an angle and attach the flower to the left edge.

Add a pearl centrepiece to the middle of the flower.
