Hello everyone, this is Yana Smakula sharing another cardmaking video tutorial.
Today I’d like to post one of the more traditional Spellbinders cards with a lot of layers and dimension and to be honest these type of cards are among my favorites to make.
The card I’m featuring in this blog post is Engagement Congratulations card created using several dies from the Botanical Bliss collection.
One of the key ingredients to making beautiful layered cards with Spellbinders dies is paper. I like to use various papers with some kind of special effects, like shimmer or shine, glitter, embossing or texture, fabric paper etc.
There are many different brands of paper out there that work beautifully with Spellbinders dies. For my card today, I’m using papers from First Edition.
White cardstock; Patterned & pearlescent paper (First Edition – The Promise), Clear Stamp (WPlus9 – Fresh Cut Wreath), Clear embossing ink; Platinum embossing powder; Heat tool; Foam Adhesive; Clear Droplets; Glue; Tape Runner.
Learn how you can make this project below.
Thank you so much for stopping by today, have fun die cutting!
