Maker Moments: This Cute Christmas House
So for some reason, I just can’t escape this adorable little die set called “Prims”. I showcased it in September and October and now I just can’t stop from making it into a Christmas house. (And now its November). I also had to include the little Perfect Matchbook die to complete the look because the holidays are just around the corner and everyone needs a box. So here is my pretty little shot of the collection. Nothing fancy but definitely right on trend for the 2016 season. You will need these dies to create the following projects:
Spellbinders Platinum Machine: PL-001
Prims Die Set: S2-251
Perfect Match Contour Die: SR-015,This is a steel rule die and will cut a variety of materials
The house card and box have a background of watercolor brush marks. I think watercoloring is just the best because it’s fun, easy and best of all, imperfect! The little details on the card are created by using a white roller pen. Don’t forget to cut the heart and door from glittered paper or glittered foam paper. I think it dresses up the card a bit.
I’m always looking for those little tiny jewelry boxes for Christmas gifts. This match box is perfect for gift cards as well. Choosing different materials and patterns to die-cut always adds to that personal touch.
If you work the Prims set just right, you can use the rectangular die for a tag and embellish it with a star or a heart. I stamped the sentiments onto black paper using white ink to give it a chalkboard effect. These are perfect to make up ahead of time for the holidays.
Wanting to make any of these projects? Here is a list of the supplies I used:

Leave me a note. I would love to hear from you!

Debi
