One Stamp – Four Designs with the Stephanie Low Collection – Video Tutorial

Hello there! This is Yana Smakula, today I would like to show you how to create a set of elegant cards featuring stamping, heat embossing and watercolor using stamps from the Feather Stamp And Die Set From The Earth Air Water Collection By Stephanie Low.

Hover over the image below to see what I used in creating this card:

I used a beautiful feather with lots of detail to create these cards. I stamped patterns using feather image and black ink pad onto watercolor paper and colored the background as well as some sections of the image using several colors of Distress ink. I also added heat embossing to the edges of these panels and adhered them onto navy note cards. I went with simple sentiment and heat embossed those in gold embossing powder onto navy cardstock.

If you are not into coloring, you can use this feather image to heat emboss a pattern in gold embossing powder onto navy cardstock (or use any other colors you like).

  1. So many things to do with one stamp. Now to do some of that creative thinking myself.

    1. Laura, right?! I thought the same thing, Yana is a creative powerhouse and she definitely gave me some new ideas to consider. Thanks for stopping to show us some love! xoxo

  2. Feathers have a special meaning for me. I truly love this stamp-and your owl one. They will both have a place in craftroom as soon as they are available.

    1. Feathers are sort of my niche element to draw Beth! They speak to so many people and in so many ways. There is a magic in finding a stray feather along your path too! I am glad you like my feather, but be on the look out for more feathers in future collections (I am trying to sneak a feather into each collection!) Thanks for the love, Beth!
