Cards and Crafts For Superhero Parties
It’s Superhero Saturday! Let’s craft as we think up all of our favorite super powers.
We demonstrated these awesome projects during our 2017 Convention. It was so much fun to watch. They featured the Build-A-Hero Stamp & Die Set, with coordinating armor in the Hero Accessories Stamp & Die Set and the superhero sentiments in the Onomatopoeia Stamp & Die Set.
First, we call on all of our favorite heroes! It’s time for the super birthday party with the perfect Heroes Unite invitation.
Create your background by alternating images from our new Hero Accessories Stamp Set. Choose a cool pattern like the Abstract Wall Stencil to add more to your background. Use the stencil to add color by placing the stencil over the cardstock and coloring in the shapes with a Dabuer Dowel.
Who is your favorite hero? Pop out their iconic mask onto your project with the Hero Accessories coordinating dies. These images look awesome on the Film Capture Die – almost as if you are watching your favorite superhero movies. These heroes have the power of strength and speed on their side.
Finally, make your sentiment pop with the power of your superheroes. The Heroes Unite sentiment would look good on its own, but you can really add that power force to it by an Onomatepoeia Stamp word cloud.
Now for some party décor!
Life-like heroes are fun party favors. Bring your hero to life with the Build-A-Hero Stamp & Die Set. Connect his limbs with our Journey Brads. Display him in a super Popcorn Box Die created just for him. What super power does he have? Flight maybe … it’s all up to you.
Your hero deserves more than a plain solid Popcorn Box. Decorate it with fun patterns and power Onomatopoeia sentiments. Add your polka dots just like our previous card – a stencil and a Dauber Dowel.
Create a coordinating card for the birthday boy or girl. Have fun with the Onomatepoeia Stamp Set alternating each sentiment. You can highlight certain areas with the Ink Splat Stamp too for extra effect.
As you craft, use your superhero imagination to create these projects in your own way.
What’s your favorite super power?
