Fleur de France Cards with Nested Etched Dies
Hello everyone, Yvonne here with a fast way to create two cards using the Fleur de France Etched Dies from the Ooh La La Collection by Stacey Caron. By nesting two etched dies, you end up die-cutting two different types of Fleurs de France at once thus creating two cards at the same time!
Let’s start with the basics. Note both cards are the same size.
Card Base: Cut mint green and purple cardstock 9 x 6¼” and fold to create 4½ x 6¼” card bases.
Card Panels: Trim two pieces of fuchsia cardstock to 4⅛ x 5⅞” card panels.
Die Cuts: Nest Fleur de France Etched Dies Large Fleur de Lis Die and Fleur de Lis Outline Die together, secure with washi tape/removable tape, place over dull gold cardstock, and die-cut with your manual die cutting machine. Repeat five more time to get a total of six sets. Use the Tool ‘n One™ to remove the excess parts.
For “Thank You” card:
1. Glue the Fleur de Lis Outline die-cuts onto the fuchsia card panel to cover the entire surface and trim excess from the edges using scissors.
2. Adhere the embellished panel onto the card base using 3D Foam Tape.
3. Embellish the card with lace trim, mulberry flowers, leaves, stamens, a stamped sentiment and self-adhesive rhinestones.
For “Best Wishes” card:
1. Glue the Large Fleur de Lis die-cuts onto the fuchsia card panel to cover the entire surface and trim excess from the edges using scissors.
2. Adhere the embellished panel onto the card base using 3D Foam Tape.
3. Embellish the card with ribbons, mulberry flowers, leaves, stamens, a stamped sentiment and self-adhesive rhinestones.
And Oh la la….voila…..you have finished your two cards! LOL!
