Picture Perfect

Decorate this small wooden easel for a commemorative gift. Create both your background panel and the photo mat with the Journey Gel Press, acrylic paints and stencils.

First, create your background. Mix Cool Pool and Whip Cream Acrylic Paints on the Journey Gel Press. Press the Polka Dot Wall Stencil into the plate and then press your Oatmeal Cookie Cardstock panel into the plate.  On a closer look, these polka dots have distress details. Add these with a Fusion Ink Sponge and daps of Oatmeal Cookie Acrylic Paint.

It’s a beautiful background ready to add your favorite photo. Place your photo over an artsy mat. Create your stencil impression on the Journey Gel Press plate with Whip Cream Acrylic Paint and press it into the Cool Pool Cardstock.

Add your favorite photo and coordinating sentiments.

You Are Amazing

This large wooden easel is perfect to display your favorite memory on a mantelpiece or office desk. Let’s create it with the Fluttering Hearts Impression Plate. This plate is like the Journey Gel Press, but with its own pattern already ingrained into it. You won’t need a stencil.  Watch our Fluttering Hearts Product Spotlight video for a quick tutorial from Kim here! 

Add your acrylic paint colors directly to the Fluttering Hearts Impression plate. Maybe a bit more Lemon Drop for the outside areas and Cool Pool with Blue Lagoon for the hearts – or any combination that makes your heart flutter. Once ready, press the plate onto your cardstock for a gorgeous background.

Decorate your easel with a few Sweet Candy Drops, your favorite sentiment and an adorable family photo.
