Handmade Rose Cards with Elena
Hello everyone. I am Elena Olinevich and I have a set of handmade cards to share with you. These are feminine and delicate – these are the things that I like to follow/incorporate when making cards like these.
You may have noticed I like to make several cards at once. Well, first of all I like testing how the dies look on different papers, I mix the colors and textures, that is why I create sets mostly. And of course, it was so difficult to try making only one card with the new Chantilly Paper Lace collection by Becca Feeken.
I started by die cutting a beautiful frame from Bella Rose Lattice Layering Large set. It’s a versatile one since you can change the motifs for it by just replacing the inserts from the compatible set Lunette Arched Borders. I used the heart shaped inserts for my cards
I also created embossed background for my card using Flourish Stitch embossing folder and white cardstock.
For my second card I added the extra layer that I topped on the frame from the Bella Rose Lattice Layering Frame Large set, that I cut out from the same patterned paper and foam mounted on top.
I wanted to keep it more simple
For my third card, I die-cut the same oval using different paper from the background, that I placed horizontally .
I also used the smaller frame from the set to place my sentiment on top of it , that I die-cut with an older Romantic Rectangles Two.
I used Wedding Ring Stitch embossing folder for this card.
This time I tried to keep the monochromatic look, however I added the rose quartz, gold and silver accents.
