Four Seasons Inspiration | Easy Christmas Boxes with Laurie
Hi everyone! This is Laurie Schmidlin and I am honored to be guest blogging here on the Spellbinders blog! Today I’m sharing a couple of Christmas boxes created with the new Four Seasons Collection by Lene Lok.
The Four Seasons Box by Lene Lok is the perfect die to create quick and easy gifts or party favors!
To create this box, I started by die cutting the Four Seasons Box die using heavyweight black cardstock. For each box, you will need two die cuts. To adhere the pieces together, I used a strong double sided adhesive tape.
I wanted to create an elegant box so I chose to add some metallic gold and silver snowflakes. The snowflakes from the Winter Canopy and Elements Dies by Lene Lok are the perfect size for this box! I alternated snowflake designs, adhering four snowflakes to each side of the box.
To decorate the top of the box, I tied on some black satin ribbon with a few gold and silver bells added to the center of the bow.
For my second box, I created an entirely different look using the same dies. I started by die cutting the Four Seasons Box twice using heavyweight red cardstock.
Using stencil paste and a stencil, I added some white snowflakes to the entire box before assembling the two box pieces together. After the paste was dry I used strong double sided adhesive tapes to adhere the box together.
To decorate the box, I die cut the deer from the Winter Canopy and Elements Dies by Lene Lok four times using black cardstock.
To decorate the top, I tied on some black string and added some faux pine cones.
