With the holidays quickly approaching, it’s time to think about decorating. I’m Debi Adams and decorating is always a favorite subject of mine. I love to embellish my home, my table décor and my packages. Today I want to bring you another idea in my continuing series, DIY Party Décor. This one project can be translated into so many other uses. It can be an ornament, a gift topper, plate embellishment or a banner. The simplicity of this ornament makes it a quick craft and purposed for any holiday tradition.
My inspiration and what I noticed most for the Holiday 2017 season, was the continuation of the plaid print but mixed with wood-burned motifs.
You will need to die-cut 3 of the large hearts with the smaller heart (second smallest heart in the set) in the center, from wood paper.
Die-cut the largest Snowflake Snippet from wood paper.
Apply ink to the edges of the wood pieces using the Tool ‘n One with foam applicator. Attach the Snowflake Snippet to the inside of one of the hearts, trimming to fit into heart. Attach two of the other Snowflakes, back-to-back using adhesive. This will give a finished look to the back of the heart. You should now have two hearts. Adhere string to the center of the heart. Attach the two hearts together using foam dots.
