Love Bug Valentine Card Carrier

Do you remember celebrating Valentine’s Day in Elementary School? Walking into class with a batch of cards, nervous and excited to receive cards back? Bring back that youthful spirit! Let’s create this Love Bug Card Carrier with school age enthusiasm for what Valentine’s will bring this year.

If you have kids or grandkids, have them join you. Let them add their own creative touch. It’s fun for the whole family.

Before we get started, let’s chat about the Card Carrier Die. This die set includes two thin metal dies, one for the top and one for the bag itself. If you haven’t seen our Product Spotlight video watch it below to learn how to assemble it.

This video features an Easter Card Carrier in the video. However, you can create yours for any occasion.

We wanted to give ours a Valentine’s theme to get you inspired for one of our favorite upcoming celebrations.

We LOVE the Bug Love Stamp & Die Sets. With the ladybug images in mind, we wanted to give our Card Carrier a coordinating background design. Before die cutting the Card Carrier, grab a Dauber Dowel with Black Licorice Ink and create polka dots on a piece of Cranberry Bliss Cardstock. Then die cut the bag and assemble.

Add your stamped images. The Bug Love images are so cute; you have to color them in. Let your inner kiddo out and grab your favorite FSJ coloring tool to bring your ladybug to life. We added a bit of Black Licorice Acrylic Paint to accentuate the eyes and dots.

Decorate your Card Carrier with your favorite embellishments like ribbon and Journey Sequins.
