Easy Elements In a Row Card
Sometimes I like to mass produce cards for friends, but I never quite want to make them identical. I’m Becca Feeken with Amazing Paper Grace and I have an easy card to share with you today. Take a stunning element and repeat it in a row three times and you’ll get a harmonious design, furthermore the eye loves the balance of the three elements in a row. The sum of all the parts creates a unique piece with balance and simplicity.
Tip: Stick to an odd number of elements in a row to create visual appeal. Your brain and eyes favor an odd number.
For my card today I created a long landscape card 8-1/2″ wide and 4″ tall – just the right size to fit into a business envelope. The long size makes a perfect foundation for three elements in a row.
For the “dazzling” elements in a row I selected S5-329 Hannah Elise Layering Frame. I simply cut a panel of card stock 3-1/2″ tall by 7-3/4″ wide. I folded the bumps outs on Hannah Elise over the panel for a nice looking motif. After putting one motif on each end of the panel, the last motif was centered. This makes an excellent base to embellish with a bow and a sentiment tag! I popped it up on doubly stacked foam tape to adhere it to the card base.
These are amazingly easy to make and although in different colorways, you can mass produce them while each one has its own character. Coordinate bows to the color of your card stock and add flowers with S6-050 Cinch and Go Flowers.
