Hello dear friend! This is Elena Salo, thank you for joining me today. This is my last post with projects I made using dies from the Lavender and Poppies Collection. I’d like to show you some fun technique with dies today. With this technique you can create your own patterned paper with die-cuts without any dimension.
Instructions:
Die cut 20 flowers with small die from Eau De Lavender Label set of dies. Use thick cardstock and glue two pieces together for extra dimension. Click images to enlarge.
Create 4 ½ x 6 ” card base, place the flowers on the front side and adhere them with temporary adhesive.
Emboss front side of the card. When using Platinum die cutting machine. Place the sandwich in such an order: embossing mat, the front side of the card and embossing plate.
After removing all the flowers, you’ll get such debossed effect on the card base
And there will be embossing inside the card.
Die-cut 10 more small flowers out of watercolor paper, color and adhere them inside the debossed gaps.
Foam mount thin stripes with sentiments onto the card. Add liquid drops here and there and the card is finished.
I made one more card in this technique and used Lavender Bunch die. It was easier to make this card, because I needed to die cut a bouquet only two times for debossing and one more for watercoloring.

Love this fun tutorial.
I love everything about the Lavender die collection! I really have to use the ‘create your own patterned paper’ technique, I have so many dies that would be perfect for this. Thank you for the inspiration!!
These cards are beautiful! I really love the first one.
