Die D-Lites Inspiration | Hip Llama Card with Laurie
Hello Spellbinders fans! This is Laurie Schmidlin back with my second guest post for this month. You can see my first Die D-Lites post here. One of the die sets that immediately caught my eye is the Hip Llama set. Llamas are definitely trending right now and I couldn’t wait to create using this fun die set!
I started by sponging the background to create a warm, sunset look. I then splattered the blended ink with both water and ink. After that was dry I used a stencil to sponge on some sunshine rays.
To create the herd of llamas, I die cute the llama die seven times out of various colors of cardstock. I think my favorite part of this die set is the sunglasses so I just had to add them to each llama! I even added gave a few of the llamas some bow ties. I really love how the llama die has some scored details, giving more them more definition.
For the sentiment, I die cut the Congratulations die from the Phrase Set One die set and adhered it to the top of my card. I also added a stamped sentient to complete the card.
