May 2018 Fun Stampers Journey Bloom Box

Holy moly!  Look at all of that beautiful color and those gorgeous blooms.  Can you even stand how cheerful and wonderful they are?  I guess April showers really DO bring May (Bloom Box!) flowers.  Let’s take a look at how a couple of these cards were created.

This card is so much fun.  Don’t you love the little game spinner in the center?  It’s even more fun since it’s pointing to the sentiment.

We started with the Whip Cream cardstock panel (which is included in the individual card kit) and found the center of the card and made a small mark with a pencil.  Then, we can start creating the circular pattern with the triangle stamp included in the Color Me Happy stamp set.  We started with our Beach Breeze True Color Fusion Ink Pad and lined the point of the stamp with the center of the card.  Once we stamped it once, we used the Beach Breeze to stamp again directly across from the first triangle.  Then, we continued with each of our other colors, Citrus Cooler, Watermelon Fusion, Electric Lime and Candy Apple, lining them up and stamping them each twice across from each other.

After giving the panel a few splatters of Beach Ball Silk, we can adhere the panel to the other Whip Cream panel (with the Journey Circle already die cut out) and attach the spinner in the center of the triangles.

Now we can take the extra piece of Whip Cream cardstock and stamp the trio of leaves using our Black Licorice True Color Fusion Ink Pad!  Simply trim it out using your Details Pro Shears and let’s adhere it to our card, with the stamped sentiment right on top.  Super cute and ready to send to your recipient.

Hello gorgeous is right!  This card is gorgeous and sure to make your recipient feel very special.  This card is simple, yet fun to create.  We love all the color and think you’re going to love all the stamping you get to do to create this fun technique!

Creating this card starts with the Whip Cream panel included in the kit.  We’ll line the triangle stamp up in the center (along the top and then the bottom, of the panel.) and stamp first with the Electric Lime True Color Fusion Ink Pad.  We’ll move to the edges next, using our Beach Breeze and Watermelon Fusion True Color Fusion Ink Pads.  We’ll finish the design with Citrus Cooler and Candy Apple stamping.

Once the triangles are complete we can layer the center circles, complete with our stamped sentiment, and adhere them on top of the card base.  We’re ready to add the fun embellishment, which is also simple, yet eye catching! Don’t you love how the cluster of stamped leaves create a cute little cluster?

These are just two of the beautiful cards included in the May 2018 Bloom Box.  There are two additional fully cut and complete card kits waiting for you to do the fun part of cardmaking — bringing the paper to life!
