Hot Air Balloon Card with Watercolor and Gold

WOW!  Isn’t this a stunning way to let someone know you love them and are missing them?  Soft blues and shiny gold really accent each little bit – don’t you think?

Do you love that background like we do? It’s a fun technique we think you’ll enjoy! Apply drops of Cool Pool Liquid Color onto a clear sheet. Mist the Liquid Color with water and allow color to blend into water. Mist Color Splash Sheet with water and then place face down onto Liquid Color. Quickly ink Blue Skies hot air balloon stamp with a puddle of Catalina Splash Liquid Color and stamp onto wet Color Splash Sheet (mist with additional water just before stamping, if it’s not still super wet.)

The heat embossing definitely adds that texture we all love to this card, as well!  Not to mention, the gold is a great accent with the soft blues.  Do you love the color palette of this card?  Might you recreate it, too?

I am a very picky buyer and probably would not have purchased this stamp set or the heart but seeing this together, I consider this a MUST HAVE if all I make is this gorgeous card! I can see sending this same card to so many different people in my life and I love how you used the heart. Many ideas swirling in my head!
