Video Friday | Blue and White Christmas with Olga
Good morning everyone. Do you love blue and white color combo, probably with the touch of silver or gold? Have some blue and white china? Then what about going all blue and white this Christmas?
I have used three die sets from the latest collection by Sharyn Sowell called A Sweet Christmas to create a place card plus a matching favor bag (it is in fact a chocolate bar holder) to be placed on each plate.
Mistletoe Gatefold die is meant to create see-through tabs on a card BUT it also makes lovely intricate placement cards. This strip at the bottom (see the picture below) is supposed to be adhered on a card but in this project we are going to use it to write the names of guests.
The chocolate bar holder is super easy to make – it is basically a sheet of 6 x 6 inch paper folded in half (of course you can use a different format depending on the size of a chocolate bar). I have attached blue and white ribbons and secured them by sticking a medallion on top. That one is created with Mistletoe Doily dies just as the circle frame on a placement card.
I have used this super cute sack image from From Our Home to Yours set to add inside the frame since it fitted in perfectly. Then I only had to add some sparkly snow and winter berries to finish off the project!
Both projects are very easy to create and are suitable for mass production.
