Die D-Lites Holiday Inspiration | Christmas Tree Cards with Kimberly Crawford
Hello everyone! Kimberly Crawford back again today to share another peek at the Holiday Die D-Lites. I don’t know about you, but when I get a brand-new set of dies, I cut them right away. That way I can see what they look like, see the size, see the details, see all the good stuff! So often I get so focused on the image (positive cut image) that I forget to take a look at the left-over pieces (negative image). Christmas Tree Die D-Lites are a perfect example of a set of dies that have incredible positive and negative images!
The original die cut image is meant to layer together to make a wonderfully detailed tree. But once I saw the beauty of the negative images, I knew exactly how I wanted to use each die template.
On this card, I cut the image from white cardstock and foam mounted it to a panel of gold glitter cardstock. Its so simple and lovely. Ideal for mass-producing your holiday cards this season. A few simple stamped images and a sentiment were added, along with the star for the top of the tree, which is also a part of Christmas Tree set.
For my second card, I once again cut an image from cardstock, but this time used the outer die template. (Two looks in one, yee haw!) Isn’t it lovely? So clean and classy.
This panel was begging to be turned into a shaker card. Because, look at how fantastic that looks! The shaker is filled with white, clear, and gold sequins, but I also added a few red hearts for seasonal color and to share the love this holiday season.
