I have ordered the Glimmer Machine, but I need to know what die cutting machines are compatable with it? I have a BigShot and a BigKick, will either work? Or do I need to purchase a larger machine?
Doris, both are compatible. Here’s a full list of compatible die cutting machines:
I just bought a glimmer foil machine, using it only once and now as I tried it again it will not heat up? The power turns on but the green light does not come on and it will not heat up. Any help I am so excited about the machine and so sad and trouble by this problem.

Is the Glimmer Hot Foil compatible with the Big Shot Pro?
Diane, yes, Glimmer is compatible with the Big Shot Pro machine.
I have lots of Spellbinders dues, how do I know which ones are compatible?
Sue, you need to use our new Glimmer plates for ideal foiled results. As for the dies, you can foil with all of them as well, but they will give you a thin foiled line (where the cut line is supposed to be). I hope this helps!
I have one of the new Stampin’ Up! Cut and Emboss machines – which looks remarkably similar to the Platinum Die Cutting and Embossing machine. Is the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System?
Thank you so much for any information that you can give me on this!
If you are asking if these two are compatible – yes, the new Stampin’ Up! Cut and Emboss and Spellbinders Glimmer are compatible.
I hope this helps!
Thanks so much, Yana – that’s exactly what I was asking! I should have proofread the post before hitting send! I was hoping that it was compatible – so I’ll be spending some money tonight, I guess!
Thank you so much for your incredibly quick response!
It simply is fun and adds such a finished touch and Wow factor to your paper projects. I am addicted and please watch Yana’s videos because she will give you great advice on how to make a success out of your endeavors!
I bought a US version but am using the UK plug. How will I be able to use this machine in my county Singapore ?
The power supply between different countries is MORE than just a plug type, it is the voltage (V) and Hertz (Hz). The United States is 120 V and 60 Hz while the power supply in Singapore is 230 V and 50 Hz. If you just change the plug and plug it in, the circuit board will last about 2 seconds before smoking and never being able to use it again. It will destroy the unit.
See the link to World Standards.eu below.
The only way that you could use the U.S. version of the Glimmer would be to purchase a power converter, which literally converts the power supply to the correct specifications to use the 110 V 60 Hz unit. See below.
We hope this helps.
Is the Spellbinders Glimmer hot foil system compatible with the eBosser ?
No, Glimmer is not compatible with eBosser.
Hi, I looked it up and it says it is compatible with the Craftwell eBosser.
