Create Festive Embroidery Hoop Christmas Ornaments

Hello, Fun Friends! The holiday season is upon us and we’re feeling the itch to create all of the Christmas themed projects.  There are, of course, Christmas cards, we all know that!  You’ll see more of those here, too!  However, it seemed like a lot of fun to create something that is personalized and handmade.  Something you can use in your decorating — something like a Christmas Tree Ornament!  Wow!  We’re pretty sure you’re going to love this idea, too.  Let’s take a closer look at how we made our own ornament.

Isn’t this festive trio SO CUTE?!  They have adorned our DIY Hoop perfectly and it would look so cute on any tree.  Even better, you could personalize the colors on these little guys for your recipient.  One of our favorite things on this ornament is the textured background.  It’s such a subtle detail, but the Cozy Knit pattern really makes a big difference and gives the gnomes a sweater like background!

Now, we already talked about how easy it is to personalize these fun guys with the Journey Color Burst Pencils.  Since there are 48 colors included, there are sure to be ones to get those beard colors just right!  And, adding the Journey Glaze gives the ornament a bit of shine and shimmer when you add a dusting of Journey Sparkle Dust.

Now, the best part of this ornament, [aside from being super cute!] is how easy it is to add fun details.  No need to go crazy!  Why not a stamped heart adhered to the bow?  If you add a bit of Journey Glaze it’s even more fun and personalized with your choice of ink colors!
