Make a Gingerbread Treat Box for Christmas

Hello, Fun Friends!  It’s the most wonderful time of the year and we are very nearly close to the big day!  We know you might be finished with most of your holiday crafting but we have something you might just have time to add.  Are you getting together with friends or family for Christmas? Then maybe you’d love giving a little treat to each guest.  Let us show you one Fun way!

Don’t you just love how our Bird House Box die set turned out?  It’s a gingerbread house! Isn’t that just so clever?  You get to decorate it as you wish and we’re sure the recipients will love each little detail you add.  In fact, we’re sure they will love it as much as the love the surprises you add inside.  Let’s take a closer look!

There are those treats we talked about! Don’t they just look adorable sprinkled on the roof of the gingerbread house? They might be part of a Halloween themed stamp set [Bad Witch ATS] but they definitely look perfect here.  We went with a red & green color palette but sky is the limit!  You can use candy colors or any other color scheme that goes with your decor. Make sure you use a little Journey Sparkle Dust with Journey Glaze to really make those candies something special.

Now, what about that roof? Those scallops are so easy to do with our Border Basics die set.  Simply overlap each border and create shingles that look just perfect for our gingerbread house.

Of course, this is just another way your own houses can be individual to your style or gathering.  We wanted to continue the candy pieces and scallop theme [which can be created by simply using the same Border Basics Die Set die we used above!] while sticking with our chosen colors.
