Embossing With Color | Tools, Tips and Techniques

Hello, Fun friends! We cannot wait to share with you today. We’re hoping that you’ve been having fun with your favorite Fun Stampers Journey products this week. And, we’re thinking that you might want to try embossing with color like Creative Director Kim Kesti shared on our T3 series! Would you like to watch how Kim created these two cards? You can do so right here! Let’s not delay, lets stamp!

Aren’t those simply gorgeous? They are soft and elegant — perfect to send to someone who maybe needs a prayer. Not only are they gorgeous, they are fun and easy to make. Both of these cards were created with our Bloom Wall Embossing Folder as the main tool, but we also are highlighting our Peaches And Cream color palette, too. [Isn’t it just so pretty?!] Let’s take a look at how you could create the embossed background using the Bloom Wall Embossing Folder and our Peaches And Cream Liquid Color.

The Liquid Colors are water based and are just so colorful and pigmented. Working with them is so much fun! So, to get the look we’re going for we added the Peaches and Cream Liquid Color to the B side of our Bloom Wall Embossing Folder. You can use a brush like we did here in the photo, or you can use a brayer, as well. Both will spread the beautiful color so you can use it in the Platinum Machine. A simple sentiment, like we added on the Black Licorice Cardstock is all you need to have something really special.

Want to try? If you answered yes you must watch the video! The technique is easy and there’s various ways to try it. We definitely want to see when you give it a try. So make sure you share with us when you do, okay?
