Monochromatic Print Fun! | Tools, Tips and Techniques

Hello, Fun friends! We are so very excited to share with you today. We’re hoping that you’ve had a chance to use your favorite Fun Stampers Journey products this week. And, we think you love your Journey Gel Press like we do, right? We love how Creative Director Kim Kesti shared her monoprints with the Gel Press on our T3 series! First of all, aren’t these colors so soothing? Since we Kim used the Fiddle Leaf Embossing Folder, it’s got a somewhat tropical feel, but it’s calm and soothing Cool Pool and Blue Lagoon color palette really makes you feel so calm, right? Speaking of the color palette. Both of the cards in this T3 are monochromatic thanks to the colors Kim chose. It gives the project such a beautiful dimension, yet you don’t have to worry about the colors getting too muddy when you blend them with your brayer!

Good thing I wouldn’t ask you to pick a favorite because I’m not sure it’s possible! The pinks [Sweet Berry and Watermelon Fusion] are so very pretty here but the Circle Bliss Stencil might be the real star of the show. And, as you can see from behind the card, you can make positive and negative prints from two pulls without re-inking. That is really something to get excited about!
