Christmas in July with Jennifer Rustioni & Be Merry Collection
Hi everyone! My name is Jennifer, I’m 37 years old and I live in Bergamo, Italy. I’ve always loved creativity in all its forms, but music and art are my greatest passions. Over the years they have also became my job: I’m a harpist and a coloring teacher as well. I share my love for art and coloring on my personal blog and on my social channels, so if you want you can find me there as @armieritagli!
I’m very excited to be here today as a guest designer, to share with you the cards I created using the new amazing Be Merry Collection!
I had much fun to realize these projects and you know, it’s never too early to start creating Christmas cards!
Chill Bear Christmas Card
For my first project, I created a scene card using the beautiful Spellbinders Chill Bear Etched Dies. I die cut the bear, I assembled it and then I colored it with Copic markers. I realized the background blending Distress Inks in the shades of blue. I created the snowflakes using a white gel pen. At last, I stamped the main sentiment using “Merry Christmas” from the Holiday Gnomes Clear Stamp and then I added a red banner with another sentiment from the Mini Christmas Greetings Clear Stamp.

Friendly Snowmen Christmas Card
The second project I created is a coloring on a black paper. I really love this coloring technique and I thought it was perfect for the beautiful Friendly Snowmen Clear Stamp! I started stamping the snowmen on the black paper using the Distress Ink Picket Fence. I colored them with Prismacolor Pencils and then I added some details with a white gel pen. I realized the snowflakes using a white pastel pencil and a white gel pen as well. At last, I stamped the sentiment at the bottom of my card.

Home for Christmas Card
For my last project I wanted to create a card a little different from my usual. I used the amazing Home for Christmas Sentiments Clear Stamp. I stamped the main sentiment in the middle of the card and I embossed it with a gold embossing powder. After that I created a pattern stamping the four foliage designs of the stamp set, with a brown ink. I colored them with Copic markers and at last, I added some details with a white gel pen.
