The Happy Turkey Day is easy to assemble and so cute. I like that I could change the look of this card by simply changing the cardstock colors.

When you need a quick and simple card, an embossing folder can be your best friend. The new Falling Leaves Embossing Folder creates a perfect background for the Mini Fall Blooms on a Rings Around the Circle Etched Die.

  • Using the Falling Leaves Embossing Folder, emboss a piece of heavyweight cardstock.

TIP – spritz the cardstock with isopropyl alcohol before running it through your Spellbinders Platinum machine. It helps to eliminate cracking and or tearing of the cardstock, and alcohol dries quicker than water.

  • Glue the embossed panel to an A2 card base
  • Die-cut the Rings Around the Circle Die from white cardstock
  • Die-cut the Mini Fall Blooms using kraft, orange, red, chartreuse, chocolate, black and slate cardstock; arrange on the die-cut Rings Around the Circle cardstock using glue and mounting foam dots
  • Glue or use mounting foam to adhere the circle to the card base
  • Die-cut the Blessed sentiment from the Grateful Sentiment Steps Etched Die Set and back with white cardstock; adding mounting foam strips to the back and adhere to card
  • Add Fashion Gold Embellishments to finish the card

I’m super excited about the Charming Pumpkins Stamp Set. I love solid stamp images and its pumpkins; nothing else needs to be said.

  • Stamp the largest solid pumpkin in the middle of a 4” x 5.25” piece of white cardstock using orange ink, create a mask of the same pumpkin by stamping onto masking paper or post-it paper, fussy cut the masking paper, and place over the stamped pumpkin on the card panel
  • Stamp the smaller solid pumpkin on both sides of the masked off pumpkin using a red and green ink
  • Using the Illustrative Floral Glimmer Plate, foil the stamped panel with Citrine Glimmer Foil
  • Round corners of the panel with a corner punch
  • Glue the panel to a chocolate A2 card base
  • Stamp the Fall Blessings sentiment onto a white cardstock strip, add mounting foam to the back of the strip, and center beneath stamped pumpkins
  • Add a few die-cut leaves and acorns from the Mini Fall Blooms Etched Die Set
  • Add Fashion Gold Embellishments to finish the card

We all have our favorites, and this card is my favorite out of the four cards I’m sharing with you today. And it’s surprisingly simple to create.

  • Die-cut the Autumn Leaves Etched Dies from kraft, orange, red, chartreuse, chocolate, black and slate cardstock

TIP – cut a lot at one time and store in a small stamp pocket with the dies for future use

  • Die-cut a white 4” x 5.25” cardstock panel using the Essential Classic Labels Etched die in the center to create a window for the sentiment
  • Foil a small piece of Spellbinders Glimmer Specialty Clear Film Sheets using Speckled Aura Glimmer Foil and the Happy Fall Y’all Glimmer Plate from the Crimson Fall Glimmer Plate Set
  • Adhere the foiled sentiment behind the white cardstock panel, centering the sentiment in the window
  • Add mounting to the back of the white panel and center on an A2 black card base
  • Arrange the die-cut Autumn Leaves around the foiled sentiment using mounting foam circles, layering some of the leaves to create more dimension
  • Add Fashion Gold Embellishments to finish the card

Tips were instructional and useful (especially the alcohol tip) and the cards delightful. Love those colorful leaves! Your longbeard has great attitude and is a cutie with that pilgrim hat.
