Happy Harvest Collection Inspiration with Caly Person
Hi, Friends! This is Caly Person and I’m excited to share some projects featuring Nichol Spohr’s Happy Harvest Collection! I used a combination of products on each card because they work so cohesively as a collection. I used the Fall Greetings stamp set for all three of my cards today.
Scare a Crow
My first card features the Scare a Crow die set. I die-cut all the pieces except for the eyes and nose using colored cardstock and colored the pieces to add shading using Copic markers. I also used the pumpkins from the Welcome Fall and Wagon Full of Fall die sets.
I pieced all the colored images together before building my scene. My background is ink-blended with Distress Oxide Inks using Gathered Twigs, Mowed Lawn, Bundled Sage, Scattered Straw, and Tattered Rose.
After filling my scene with all of the die-cut images, I stamped my sentiment using a crisp black ink and added white gel details on my scarecrow.
Welcome Fall
The Welcome Fall set features all images encompassing fall – a barrel of apples, fall leaves and pumpkins! Again, I die-cut all the images using colored cardstock and colored them with Copic markers to add depth.
I used the Geometric Floral Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set to foil the frame before ink-blending it with Crushed Olive Distress Oxide ink at the bottom right-hand corner to add color to the background. I finished by adding all my die-cut images to create my fall scene.
Wagon Full of Fall
My last card features the Wagon Full of Fall set. Once again, I die-cut all the images from colored cardstock. To keep it all cohesive, I used similar colors on all the pumpkins and apples.
My background on this one is created by ink-blending Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink for the ground and Broken China Distress Oxide Ink for the sky. After attaching my wagon, I added all the accessory die-cut images. I finished by stamping my sentiment from the Fall Greetings set using a crisp black ink.

Love what you did with these dies. They’re really cute and your cards reflected how nice they are. I do have the scarecrow but now think I need the wagon. Oh, woe is me!
