Winter Wonderland Cards and Tags with Sheri Holt

Hello, this is Sheri Holt from My Sheri Cards. Today, I am thrilled to be sharing a trio of Christmas cards PLUS 4 holiday gift tags I have created with products included in the Winter Wonderland Collection. This collection consists of Christmas-themed papers, glitter sentiment stickers, and lots and lots of die-cut shapes and sentiments.

From Our Home To Yours Card

For my first card, I started with picking the fancy pink and gold foiled paper from the Winter Wonderland Paper Pad and cut it slightly smaller than the base and glued it to the A2 White Card Base.

Next, I picked a few elements from Winter Wonderland Printed Die Cuts and a few sentiments from Winter Wonderland Printed Die Cut Sentiments.

I always like adding dimension so I glued half elements down with some Bearly Art Glue and the others I added a little height with Foam Adhesive Squares.

A Little Holiday Magic Card

For my second card, I knew I wanted to use the tree and fireplace die cuts and I built my card around them.

After laying out the elements I wished to use, I picked papers to match and cut and glued them for a horizontal layout on my A2 White Card Base.

I modified the tag in the upper right by cutting it from a tag shape to a fishtail banner shape to fit my layout. I also added a little texture with some gold string and, once again, popped up some of the elements with Foam Adhesive Squares

Cherish The Season Card

The third card is very similar to the others. I picked a few elements that I loved and then picked the paper to match. I lay them out and play with the layering until I am happy with the result.

Then I start adhering to my A2 White Card Base with Bearly Art Glue and a few Foam Adhesive Squares. I decided I needed to add an Essential Oval Die Cut to the background to showcase my focal elements.

I sometimes get carried away with adding elements to my cards but sometimes it’s hard to choose just a few! So I say “Why Not?”. There are hundreds of elements in this collection!

For all my tags, I started by cutting tags from Snowdrift White Cardstock and then again from various patterns of paper in the Winter Wonderland Paper Pad since the paper is not strong enough by itself. I had several scraps left over from the cards and this was a perfect way to use them and more die-cut elements.

I glued the white cardstock to the back of the printed paper tag with Bearly Art Glue and then adhered 4 or 5 elements to each tag. I also added a few puffy gold star stickers from the Christmas Glitter Sentiment Stickers and finished them off with a little gold string.

I hope you enjoyed my holiday cards and tags today and I hope it inspires you to get started on your holiday crafting. If it did, I hope you will follow me at your choice of media for more inspiration: FacebookInstagramMy Sheri Cards blog

All your projects are soooo cute! I haven’t made tags before; but, I am inspired to do so now, as I love your layouts. Ordered a tag die set and I am going to buy some ready made tags to start this weekend!
