Layered Stitched Diamond Cards with Larissa Heskett
Hello Crafty Friends! Larissa here today to share some different ideas on ways to use the NEW Limited Edition Layered Stitched Diamond Etched Die Set!! I personally LOVE to stitch on my cards, but there are so many ways that you can combine them with your favorite patterned papers to showcase the designs even more!!
For my first card I wanted to use one of the Prints from the NEW Home for the Holidays Paper Pad from the Christmas Flea Market Finds Collection!! SWOON!! These Papers are so BEAUTIFUL and can be used in several ways!!
After picking the Patterned Paper, I ran it through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting Machine and Die Cut the NEW Limited Edition Layered Stitched Diamond Etched Die Set!! I LOVE how the house is highlighted in the center of the Stitched Diamond!!
Next, I Die Cut the additional pieces from another patterned paper again from the NEW Home for the Holidays Paper Pad from the Christmas Flea Market Finds Collection!! The FUN thing about these papers is that they were designed for projects like this, and the different prints work well for using together!!
Next, I Stitched the different parts of the design!! I used some DMC #728 Topaz Embroidery Floss, DMC #301 Dark Cranberry and DMC #310 Black Embroidery Floss!! Once everything was stitched, I stamped and embossed the “Merry Christmas” sentiment onto some Portobello Cardstock using the sentiment stamp from the Handmade Holidays Clear Stamp Set from the Christmas Flea Market Finds Collection!! Then I added some Onyx Color Essentials Gems for some added interest and to finish off the Design!! I Adhered the Stitched Panel onto a Cardbase from some Portobello Cardstock and I LOVE how this Card turned out!!
For my Second Card I’m using more Patterned Paper this time for a Masculine Birthday Card!! I Die Cut some Onyx Cardstock for the Base of the Card!! Then I Stitched with some DMC #310 Black Embroidery Floss!!
Next, I die cut the additional dies from some gingham patterned paper and then stitched with some DMC #321 christmas red floss!! Once all the stitching was done, I stamped and embossed the “Happy Birthday” sentiment from the Limited Edition Layered Diamond sentiment clear stamp set onto some Silver Fox Cardstock and then I die cut 2 of the triangle pieces from some Phone Booth Cardstock and Layered them behind the sentiment to help it POP off of the card panel!! I adhered the panel to a Silver Fox cardbase and I LOVE how this card turned out!!
I hope I’ve INSPIRED you on some different ways to use your FAVORITE patterned papers with the Limited Edition Layered Stitched Diamond Etched Die Set!! It’s FUN to be able to showcase them along with your Stitching Dies for a new look!!
THANKS SO MUCH for stopping by today and if you create something I hope you’ll share your creations using the Hashtag #teamspellbinders #stitchingdies

Absolutely beautiful. I love how both of your cards turned out. The first one almost looks like mirrored the way you made it look. I love both of them but if I had to pick one for my favorite one, I would have to pick the first one. I think I want this die set too.
