3 Different Cards Using the Postage Dies
Hi everyone! I’m Stephanie Dang, and I am the guest designer for this beautiful collection called, Bayfair by Rosie’s Studio. If you would like to see more of my work or follow me, please find me on Instagram and Blog. The inspiration for my projects is inspired by the beautiful mixture of dark and soft colors of the Bayfair Collection. It has a very unique vintage feel to it, but still has that nice modern touch. You will find all supplies to recreate all 3 cards at the bottom of my blog post.
This collection is available on June 10th (June 6th early access for Club Members).
You’re Beautiful Card
- Step 1: Make the card base and use the A2 postage die to cut it. You will slightly off-center the die a little bit so that it doesn’t cut off the folded edge to create a “postage” card. Die cut and layer on the pink stripe on top of the card base.
- Step 2: Using black spray mist, dip the smallest water brush, and add some splatters.
- Step 3: Add the “Darling You’re Beautiful” round sentiment towards the right side.
- Step 4: Die cut flower pieces in white, and add colors using a sponge dauber along with distress ink. Add flowers to the left bottom side of the sentiment. Add enamels.
Friends Forever Card
- Step 1: Grab an A2 arch die and die-cut card base on folded pink paper. Be careful to not cut the edge of the folded side of the card. Die cut and layer the top white paper on top of card base.
- Step 2: Take a smaller scale postage die, and die cut on the gold white paper. Attach to left side of card.
- Step 3: Add round sentiment on right side of smaller-scale postage. Add another label sentiment underneath the round sentiment.
- Step 4: Die cut flowers in white card stock, and add color using sponge dauber with distress ink. Add to left bottom side of sentiments. Add dragonfly to right side of card.
Enjoy Card
- Step 1: For the last card, create a basic A2 card. Die cut sky blue paper with postage die. Layer it on. Die cut the inner piece of postage die in white paper and layer that on.
- Step 2: Add round sentiment to the middle of the card.
- Step 3: Die cut flowers in white cardstock, and color them using sponge daubers along with distress ink. Add them to bottom of sentiment. Die-cut Postage Numbers and add to the right bottom of sentiment.
- Step 4: Add a large sentiment to the top right, and finish off with gems.
