Introducing The Cats and Pugs Collection
Hello crafty friends, this is Bibi Cameron and I hope you are doing well. I’m passing by to introduce my new Cats and Pugs Collection for Spellbinders.
I’m a big animal lover and for a very long time, I have been wanting to share a heartwarming pet-themed collection with you. So here we are! As a crafter and designer, I always keep in mind originality, usability, sizing, customization options, and a high level of detail. So this collection is user-friendly and versatile.
It aims to enable you to create a variety of crafty projects such as cards, boxes, memory albums, mixed media, scrapbooks, felt and leather sewing appliqués, vinyl transfers, and many more. I hope you like it and that you find in here something that makes you and your recipients smile.
The Collection
Bibi’s Cats and Pugs features the following 6 high detail layering die sets and a stamp set :
- Big Pug set of 24 cutting dies.
- Party Puggles set of 20 cutting dies.
- Big Cat set of 21 cutting dies.
- Cheerful Kittens set of 18 cutting dies.
- Cats and Pugs Accessories set of 19 cutting dies.
- Big Bike set of 21 cutting dies.
- Cats and Pugs Sentiments stamp set set of 21 clear stamps.
Big Pug
The Big Pug die set will create a 4-4/4” x 5-1/2” pug/ bulldog and the image will fit in an A2/C6 panel.
It contains a solid background panel on which you can layer the pieces to create shaped cards or toppers for different projects.
It also contains decorative elements such as a dog collar and 3 tag designs (a circle, a heart, and a bone), and 3 small flower dies that can be used to decorate the dog or individually.
How to Assemble the Big Pug:
- Cut all the pieces first.
- Use very little glue.
- When using the backing plate glue the dog’s body first, then the backing legs.
- Then glue the assembled head/ face, and leave the ears as your last step.
- Make sure to leave a narrow withe edge around the edges.
- Optional: use dimensional foam pads to adhere the dog’s muzzle to the face, also to stick the head, and the ears to the backing plate.
- Once the dog is assembled on the backing plate you can add decorative pieces and accessories.
You can also use the pieces without the backing plate. In this way you can also place the dog’s head in different ways, perhaps tilted to the sides a little bit.
Party Puggles
Party Puggles is a set of 20 dies that will allow you to cut 3 different dog bodies.
It also includes a cupcake, a present, a party hat, a top hat, a bow, a flower, a party wand with a mini star.
The Small Pugs assembled measure: 2-1/2” x 1-3/4” ( 6×4.5 cm)
Big Cat
The Big Cat set includes 21 cutting dies that will cut a 4-4/4” x 5-1/2” layered cat and the image will fit in a A2/C6 panel.
The set also contains a solid background panel on which you can layer the pieces to create shaped cards or toppers for different projects but you can use the layering pieces without the background piece tone able to position the head in different ways.
You can also trim the cat’s body to create smaller projects.
It also contains decorative elements such as a cat collar and a tag, and a little fish.
How to Assemble the Big Cat
- Cut all the pieces first.
- Use very little glue.
- When using the backing plate glue the cat’s tail fist, then the body, next the legs, and the chest.
- The legs top area and the chest fur assemble like a puzzle so use a little glue in case you need to move the pieces.
- Once in the correct place, you can use a piece of paper to slide glue underneath the pieces to fully adhere them in place.
- Then glue the assembled head/ face, and leave the ears as your last step.
- Make sure to leave a narrow withe edge around the edges.
- Optional: use dimensional foam pads to adhere the cat’s nose to the face, also to stick the head, and the ears to the backing plate.
- Any extra decorative die-cut or accessory can be added after assembling.
Cheerful Kittens
The Cheerful Kittens die set includes 18 cutting dies.
It will cut 2 different cats’ body designs. One is seating down and the other is climbing or jumping.
The cats assembled measures:
- Sitting cat 2-1/4” x 2” (5.7x 5 cm).
- Climbing/ jumping cat 3-1/2” x 1-3/4” (9 x 4.3 cm)
It also includes a layered banner die that coordinates with one of the kittens whose body can be assembled in a way that looks as it is hanging from it ( climbing on it)
This banner die also coordinates with sentiments in the Cats and Pugs Sentiments stamp set and you can see the banner in many of the card samples in this post.
Cats and Pugs Accessories
The Cats and Pugs Accessories set contains 19 dies.
*Coordinates with the Big Pug and the Big Cat die sets, and also with the Cats and Pugs Sentiments stamp set.
This set will allow you to add decorative elements to customize cards for different occasions.
It will create 2 different party glasses designs. One for the cat ( smaller) and one for the dog.
There are decorative dies, that will cut Christmas and birthday accessories for the party glasses.
This set will also cut a bow, and bandanas in 2 different sizes to fit the different animals.
Cats and Pugs Sentiments stamp set
We also included in this collection a fun-themed sentiment stamp set called Cats and Pugs Sentiments to create birthdays, encouragement, thank you, and Christmas cards.
Most of the card samples in this post feature sentiments of the stamp set.
Big Bike
The Big Bike die set includes 21 dies.
It will cut a 5×7 inches bicycle.
This set stands alone or can be used with any of the small die sets ( small cats and pugs) and accessories in the collection.
The set includes a solid backing plate that will allow you to cut shipped cards and borders and to give you more value for money we also added a pop-up mechanism die.
The pop-up die will easily allow you to add an interactive element inside your card (click here to find the pop-up bike instructions)
This set also includes a variety of small decorative dies that will allow you to customize the bike to create cards for any occasion such as: a poinsettia flower that can be used to create both the powers and Christmasy leaves, a small teddy bear, a baby bottle, a wine bottle and glasses.

wow!! Both sets are absolutely adorable. I am a crazy cat lady, but I think the puggles might be my favorite! I admire your talent! I want them all!
