Sentiments for All Seasons

Hello crafty friends!  It’s Rachel Alvarado from RachelAlvaradoDesigns.com.  I am thrilled to be back on the Spellbinders blog today sharing some new, gorgeous sentiment sets from the All Seasons Scrapbooking Collection. These sentiment sets will go perfectly with almost any other Spellbinders product that you own and can be used all year round.

My first project is a 6.5” x 3.5” slimline card that showcases the new Four Seasons Etched Dies. I combined the “Autumn” die along with some previously released fall-themed die sets. For the large foliage, large pumpkin, acorn, and mushroom, I used the Autumn Wonder Etched Dies Set.

I also added some tiny leaves and foliage from the Rainbow Slice Tunnel Etched Die Set that was released earlier this summer. I die cut all of my pieces from colored card stock, glued them together with some Bearly Art Precison Craft Glue, and then adhered them to my card front with some 3D foam squares. Lastly, I added another sentiment from the BetterPress All Seasons Autumn Press Plate and Die Set. To do this, I used clear embossing ink and heat embossed my sentiment onto a piece of black card stock with some Fine Detail White Embossing Powder.

For my second card, I used the same BetterPress Autumn Press Plate and Die Set for my sentiment and combined it with both the Autumn Wonder Etched Die Set that I used in the card above and also the Notched Corner Frames Etched Dies Set.

The script on these sentiment sets is absolutely gorgeous and really pops on my card front.

Next, I created a Halloween-themed card using the same sentiment set that I used in the two projects above. I also used both the Halloween Wreath Add-Ons and Halloween Wonder Etched Dies Sets to add some Halloween die cuts to my card.

For my spooky background sky, I blended a mix of Wilted Violet, Seedless Preserves, Worn Lipstick, and Wild Honey Distress Inks. I also added some grass that I had die-cut from black card stock using the Bunch of Borders Etched Dies.

Next, I switched it up and created a Christmas-themed card featuring the BetterPress All Seasons Winter Press Plate and Die Set. For my background, I used a basic circle die to cut a circular window in my front card panel. I then added an ink-blended piece behind my circle to resemble a snowy sky.  For my colors, I blended a mix of Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks.

I then added a cute little snowman peeking out from the window using the Christmas Wreath Add-Ons Etched Dies. I also placed a fun little candy cane in his hand using some of the dies from the Christmas Wonder Etched Dies Set.

For my final project, I made a floral spring-themed card featuring my sentiment from the All Seasons Spring Press Plate and Die Set. Instead of heat embossing my sentiment, this time I used some Hydrangea Ink from the Flower Garden BetterPress Mini Ink Set to stamp my sentiment.

I also added some flowers from both the Garden Wreath Add Ons and Envelope of Wonder Etched Die Sets. I also once again used the Notched Corner Etched Dies to add some interest to my center focal point.

I hope you enjoyed my cards today!  Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by.

Rachel
