Scrap Boys – Three Collections, 3 Cards and Lots of Layers

Hello everyone, Mariusz Gierszewski here from ScrapBoys. This is my first post on this blog and a very exciting moment in my life. I have been involved in scrapbooking and cardmaking for 12 years, and for 5 years I have been successfully developing our ScrapBoys paper brand with my partner, whose products have just appeared in the Spellbinders store. On this occasion, I have prepared some interesting inspirations for you to show you how great you can combine our papers with Spellbinders dies.

The first card was created from the ART DECORIA collection and beautiful frames that I cut out with the Cameo Frames Etched Dies, thanks to which I was able to show the elegance of these products even more. Retro graphics make the card suitable for both a wedding and a wedding anniversary.

To create the second card, I used a small block from the STEAMPUNK JOURNEY collection, Woven Lattice Texture Etched Dies, and Sunflower Serenade Etched Dies.

First, I cut out sunflowers from paper that looked like old newspaper, which I then inked lightly brown to make them more suitable for the work. Then I cut out a Woven Lattice from black paper to add some contrast to the work. Instead of the sunflower centers, I added cut-out gears to match the steampunk style.

The third card was created from the ROMANTIC GARDEN collection. The name of this collection inspired me to create a garden scene, where birds are sitting among branches and flowers. I made several layers, which I cut out with Nestabilities Deckled Rectangles LG Etched Dies of different sizes. Then I built a romantic scene with birds on them. To make the whole card even more like a garden, I cut out Flowering Quince Etched Dies elements and added branches between the layers, and I put the flowers together and once again made them with my own means. This time I was helped by liquid pearls.
