For my first layout, I was inspired by the super fun and whimsical fairy, the colorful rainbow, and the cute little houses! This collection immediately reminded me of the time my daughter lost her tooth and the tooth fairy came and left a magic door in her room, some magic powder and a very sweet card. This was the perfect collection to document this moment!

  • Step 1: I started with the fabulous cloud-patterned paper (from the Storytelling Sunshine paper pack ) and decided to cut each cloud color separately, adhering them with foam adhesive to create dimension.
  • Step 2: I then added two strips of different patterned papers at the top and two at the bottom, and added some machine stitching to add a different texture.
  • Step 3: I then used the Happy Day Assortment Pack of color essentials cardstock to cut out all the pieces of my rainbow, the little fairy, the houses, the clouds and finally the title.
  • I pieced them together and adhered them using some foam adhesive.
  • Step 4: I loved the flower-patterned paper included in the Storytelling Sunshine paper pack and had fun fussy cutting a couple of them to create my three embellishment clusters.
  • Step 5: I then went ahead and cut my Magic title and added some awesome Betterpress words as subtitles. I fell in love with how beautiful this little phrases look in my layout, they have such an awesome and elegant look!
  • Step 6:Finally I added some enamel dots to the middle of my flowers and voila my layout was done!!!

For my second layout, I used the stunning new Storytelling Adventure Prints, the awesome Stitched Petal Bloom die, and one of my favorite older dies called Vista View Window. I had a blast fussy cutting all the florals, stitching the petals, and creating the interactive window!

  • Step 1: I started with the floral patterned paper for my 12×12 base (you can gut the middle to save some of that gorgeous floral paper). I then used two different color cardstock to create layers on my background.
  • Step 2: I used the mustard and light pink plaid patterned paper to cut out the windows for my photos and left a little 1/4” flap on each side to score it and make it open and close. I love creating interactive elements using dies, it’s a way to give your supplies new life! I adhered my two 3×4 photos and windows in the middle of my layout.
  • Step 3: Later I fussy cut a bunch of flowers and leaves from the Storytelling Adventure patterned paper and arranged them under my windows. Tucking and layering them to create a more realistic floral cluster.
  • Step 4: I used 3 colors of cardstock (mustard and two tones of pinks) to die-cut the big petals, the Smile title and the big floral piece from the center of the window.
  • Step 5:I used two strands of mustard DMC floss to stitch my petals. I love the homemade feel that stitching adds to my projects.
  • Step 6:I placed three big petals at the top of my window with some leaves and florals layered on top of them.
  • Step 7: I then placed the big flower in the middle of the bottom of my two windows. I only added foam adhesive to the right side of the flower, that way it lets me open and clod the “doors” of the windows. I tucked some long orange vines and leafs under the pink flower.
  • Step 8:I then added the SMILE title under the right window and printed journaling in these strips of white cardstock.
