Sip Sip Hooray Featuring the Happy Hour Collection
Hello, crafty friends! This is Emily Leiphart and I’m thrilled to be back on the Spellbinders blog, featuring the Happy Hour Collection. If you’re like me and love all kinds of pretty cocktails, you’ll definitely want to add these products to your collection. I used all but one of the products in this collection for everyday occasions but there are plenty of drink accessories that are perfect for Halloween and Christmas cards so definitely go check them out!
I went with a bright and happy color palette for my cards. Each one has a different balance of each colour and I love how much these products inspired me. I was able to get three very different looks with this collection and I already know that I’ll be using these products for a long time!
For this first card, I started by creating a chocolate card base with the Perfect Touch Rectangles. I heat foiled the Sending Waves border using Espresso Bean Hot Foil along the bottom, keeping in line with the tropical theme of this design.
After die cutting all the pieces from Sunset in a Glass and Tropical Flair, I assembled the scene before heat foiling the sentiment from Cheers Sentiments in Satin Pewter Hot Foil on chocolate cardstock. I also added a few Fashion Oyster Pearl embellishments.
My second card is a light contrast to the first card but I love any product with matching stencils and the Layered Classy Glasses Press Plate & Stencil Bundle makes it so easy to make a statement! I pressed the Layered Classy Glasses on a Bisque BetterPress A2 Cotton Card Panel before stencilling in the drinks.
To complete the card, I cut a small vellum panel using the Perfect Touch Rectangles and layered a bow from Christmas Cocktails. I finished with a heat foiled sentiment from Cheers Sentiments and some silver pearl embellishments.
My last card features my signature background of angled cardstock but, this time, I ran it through the Lush Leaves 3D Embossing Folder and it makes the perfect background for these espresso martinis. The glasses were cut from the Olive Martinis set.
This time, I heat foiled the sentiment from Cheers Sentiments with Espresso Bean Hot Foil on Alabaster cardstock and embellished the card with Fashion Taupe Pearls. I hope you find plenty of inspiration from this trio featuring the Happy Hour Collection!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! You can find more inspiration on my blog, Instagram, and YouTube channel.
