Colorful Leaves Cards
Hello Crafty Friends, Heejung Hunsberger here! I’m thrilled to be returning as a guest designer for Spellbinders this month again!
If you’d like to get to know me better, visit my blog or follow me on Instagram. Additionally, I have a YouTube channel where I regularly post video tutorials.
Today, I’m sharing three cards featuring the Falling Leaves Collection. The Falling Collection includes three beautiful wax seal stamps, the Acorn Trio 3D embossing folder, and the Autumn Rain Better Press Plate & Stencil.
Acorn Trio 3D Embossed Card
First, I embossed the Oak Forest 3D embossing folder onto the Forest cardstock to create the background. I shaded the corner over the background using white pigment ink.
After creating the background, I die-cut the Autumn Sealed Sprigs die with colored cardstock. I blended colors onto some of the leaves.
I made a wax seal using the Acorn Trio 3D wax seal stamp and copper wax. Before the wax hardened, I added some gold flakes and colored it with a gold metallic marker. I used the Mini Everyday Sentiments Glimmer Plate for the sentiments.
A Harvest of Love Envelope Shaped Card
I die-cut the envelope (from the Envelop Wonder Die set) first and then used the Buffalo Plaid Press Plate with Tuscan BetterPress Ink on white card stock to create the envelope insert. I also used the Autumn Wonder dies to die-cut pumpkins, mushrooms, and leaves.
I die-cut a memo pad with the perfect Touch Rectangle die on the Saffron card stock, then stamped one of the sentiments from the Clear Stamp & Die Club of September 2024.
I created a wax seal by using the Pumpkin Trio 3D wax seal stamp on orange-colored wax. I colored the pumpkins with gold metallic marker.
Falling Leaves Card
I inked the Autumn Rain Press plate with coastal letterpress ink and pressed it onto cotton card stock. After that, I used blending brushes to color the pressed images and applied them using the coordinating stencil from Autumn Rain Press Plates.
Next, I die-cut the Be Bold Uppercase Alphabet letters using white and indigo card stock. Then, I layered the letter pieces with the white one on top of the indigo.
I stamped the sentiments from this month’s Clear Stamp & Die Club and die-cut them with the coordinating die. Then, I attached the sentiments to the center of the card.
I love the press plate; it’s so easy to color with stencils.
