Adding Quick Color to Beveled Sentiments A2 Card Fronts
Hello! Jen Kotas here today with three cards featuring the Beveled Sentiments A2 Card Fronts 3D Embossing Folders. These sentiments fill almost the entire card panel and there are so many amazing techniques you can use.
I helped my card along by starting with light-colored cardstock and layering up two different ink colors to make these sentiments stand out. I only had blending brushes to use on these cards. I bet they’ll look beautiful blended with foam as well.
- Emboss a light color of cardstock using the Beveled Hello A2 Cardfront, Beveled Thanks A2 Cardfront and Beveled Happy Birthday A2 Cardfront. I used light blue, light purple and light pink cardstock.
- Using an ink color similar to the cardstock color, gently blend over embossed panel from edges to center. The ink will catch on the edges of the embossed areas making them darker.
- Pick a different color to pair with each card panel then blend on this ink going dark on the edges and softer at the center. I used purple for both the blue and pink cards and blue for the purple card.
- Die cut pieces from the Little Blooms Etched Dies from white cardstock and color with inks used on card panels plus a green for the greenery.
- Die cut the largest Perfect Touch Rectangles and Tag Etched Dies from white cardstock. Add to an A2 card base.
- Cut the panels down to 4 x 5 1/4” and adhere to card.
- Add flowers to cards then adhere the smallest Color Essentials Gems in Prism to tiny trio of flowers
