Rainbows and Shine with the Shine Bright Collection

Hello! Jen Kotas here today with three cards featuring the Shine Bright Collection by Carissa Wiley. This is such a fun collection featuring disco balls and amazing sentiments. I paired this up with the Silver Assortment Treasured Cardstock Pack for some bright and shiny cards.

When I use press plate or glimmer sentiments, I usually create all of them multiple times. For these instructions I’ve said to create the sentiment but usually, I had the sentiments ready to go.

  1. Hot foil the Sparkle Background Glimmer Hot Foil Plate on Onyx Cardstock using Speckled Prism Hot Foil Roll.
  2. Rotate glimmer plate and repeat of other half of panel. Hot foil the individual sparkles as well.
  3. Impress the Disco Impressions BetterPress Plates on Porcelain BetterPress Card using Black BetterPress Ink.
  4. Using the Layered Disco Impressions Stencil Set, stencil each image with a rainbow of ink colors. Cut out with coordinating die from Disco Impressions BetterPress Plates.
  5. Cut the dies from Silver Mirror Cardstock and adhere offset behind stenciled images.
  6. Hot foil the sentiment from Sparkle On Sentiments Press Plate and Die Set using Prism Hot Foil Roll on Onyx Cardstock. Cut out with coordinating die and again from Silver Mirror Cardstock. Adhere together offset.
  7. Attach metallic thread to top of each disco ball with strong adhesive tape or thin foam squares then attach them overlapping with thin foam squares or liquid glue where needed.
  8. Adhere sentiment with thin foam squares. If it hangs off die cuts add a second layer of foam squares.
