Spellbinders 2024 Crafty Advent Calendar Inspiration Round-Up

The Spellbinders Crafty Advent Calendar has quickly become one of our favorite holiday traditions. Counting down the days of December has never been so crafty! Today is the day to finally peek at the goodies inside (if you haven’t already, wink wink!) We can hardly wait to share inspiration with you for each of the 24 surprises you’ll find inside the 2024 Crafty Advent Calendar.

This year’s calendar is packed with dies, stamps, stencils, embossing folders, and embellishments that you’ll love crafting with all year long. Are you ready for Day 1?

Day 1

We’re off to a soaring start with this sweet hot air balloon die set. It even includes the darling hello sentiment banner. Whether welcoming a new baby, sending birthday wishes, or celebrating a graduation or retirement, this hot air balloon will be a whimsical start to card making for all occasions.

Day 2

There’s not much better than a beautiful floral stamp for simple and elegant card making, especially when paired with a versatile and lovely sentiment. We whipped up this clean and simple card to say Hello Friend using just the Day 2 stamps, and the Mirrored Arch Labels dies (S5-613).

Day 3

Care to create your simple florals with die-cutting instead of stamping? Layer up a beautiful bouquet of any size and color palette with the Day 3 dies. Remember to mix and match each day’s goodie for even more options. On today’s card we grabbed the Hello sentiment banner from Day 1!

Day 4

Speaking of sentiment banners! The power of repetition brings this birthday card to life! Use the banner shape on its own, or with one of three coordinating sentiments. These versatile sentiments will have you covered for almost any occasion.

Day 5

This whimsical loopy border die is the surprise inside Day 5! One simple product is all you need to create a festive and fun background with a big personality.

Day 6

Could this card BEE any cuter? I spy the Mirrored Arch Labels die set again, this time to create a shaped card – the perfect landing spot for today’s adorable bee. Even the honeycomb background was created with the little hexagon in the Day 6 dies.

Day 7

Layered stencils have become so trendy, and with good reason: they’re simple to use, and they make a beautiful impact! Now you easily ink different colors only where you want them, creating colorful backgrounds and focal points. If you haven’t ever tried layered stencils, Day 7 is the perfect time to give it a shot.

Day 8

What a lovely card, don’t you agree? With today’s crafty goodie, you can assemble a vase of flowers in your favorite color combination. Day 8 is great, and blooming with possibilities!

Day 9

Look who came buzzing back with another card idea! Shake things up with cheerful yellow sequins inside a shaker card, or finish off a card with some subtle sparkle using today’s prize.

Day 10

Day 10 is here, just saying hello, as well as sharing another idea using that darling hot air balloon from Day 1! Those inky pink clouds are a whimsical backdrop paired with the dreamy script font of today’s sentiment dies.

Day 11

Raise your hand if you’re in love with the fun mini size of this embossing folder! (Me! Me! Me!) This size makes it simple to create the dimensional geometric stripes of pattern that cover this colorful card. (Plus, I spy another way to use the flowers from Day 3!)

Day 12

Can you believe we’re only halfway through the sweet-as-sugar goodness that’s packed into the Crafty Advent Calendar? Create a refreshing glass of lemonade, as well as a vibrant lemon slice background using the Day 12 dies. The perfect finishing touch? Those yellow sequins, as a sparkly lemon twist!

Day 13

When the sentiment is the background and the background is the sentiment, there’s room to add all of the stamped sayings you want! Thanks to Day 13, we’ll welcome some cute new stamped sentiments into our stash.

Day 14

Say bonjour to your new bestie. Complete with bandana and hat, this cutie has a big personality that’s simply irresistible.

Day 15

Happy Day 15! What’s been your favorite crafty prize so far? Today’s goodie is another adorable mini embossing folder. This card proves that x’s and o’s aren’t only for Valentine’s Day! Add fun-sized texture and dimension to your cards, paired with a sentiment cut from metallic cardstock for extra shine.

Day 16

Stencils aren’t only for white cardstock! Try out your layered stencil from Day 7 on your favorite light shade of cardstock, and add today’s sweet and scripty sentiment.

Day 17

Day 17 is making a serious SPLASH! Check out this card using four different advent goodies – including today’s postage edge tag dies. Will we ever have enough nesting dies? (The answer here is definitely NO!) The possibilities are truly endless with a stack of nesting shapes. Layer them, cut them, use them for sentiments, backgrounds, gift tags and more.

Day 18

Bling it up, baby! We know you love Spellbinders Color Essentials Sequins with their faceted sides and smooth center. Day 18 brings us a little more sparkle and shine to finish off card making projects. (Aren’t they perfect as the flower centers on today’s card?)

Day 19

Thanks to Day 19 we’ve got some more cute sentiment stamps that pair perfectly with pretty much everything we’ve opened so far, including our playful pooch!

Day 20

Day 21
