Water Color Trio Cards with Justine’s Farm BetterPress Plates

Hello Crafty Friends, Heejung Hunsberger here! I’m thrilled to be returning as a guest designer for Spellbinders this month again! I’m thrilled to share my cards featuring the Justine’s Farm Collection, which includes five different Betterpress Plates sets. Each plate is fabulous. If you’d like to get to know me better, visit my blog or follow me on Instagram. Additionally, I have a YouTube channel where I regularly post video tutorials. Clover, Many Thanks Card I embossed the Fresh Picked Floral Frame 3D Embossing Folder on sage-colored cardstock. I ink-blended the corners of the embossed paper with blending brushes. I used Peacock Feather and Speckled Egg Distress Oxide inks for the ink-blending. I pressed the Clover Press Plate onto watercolor paper using black BetterPress ink and colored it with watercolor tool. I die-cut the oval frame using the Fluted Classics Ovals Die. For the sentiment, I applied gold foil to the Curved Everyday Sentiments Glimmer plate on white cardstock, which was die-cut with the coordinating die. I cut out the colored cow with scissors. I attached the cutout images under the oval frame, and the cow’s horns and ears overflow onto the frame. Lamb’s Stitched Frame Birthday Card First, I embossed the EOM-Feb23 on yellow card stock to create the background. I die-cut the oval frame with the DOMST-Jan25 on the Teal Topaz card stock and, stitched it with yellow thread. I press the Cotton Ball Press Plate on watercolor paper with Betterpress black ink. I colored it with watercolor. For the sentiment, I used the same glimmer hot foil plate, Curved Everyday Sentiments Glimmer Plate and Die. I gold-hot foiled it on black card stock and die-cut it with the coordinating Die. I die-cut the lamb using the stitching oval frame die and attached it beneath the frame. I also attached the sentiment at the bottom frame. Sweet Farm Card I pressed the Farm Sweet Farm registration Better Press plate onto the BetterPress cotton cardstock. I pressed the sky panel first, then the barn and tree in gray ink, followed by the cows in black ink. I painted the grass field, tree, and barn with watercolor. I die-cut the Nested Postage Labels and Tag die on white cardstock to create a picture frame. I pressed the Feathered Friends BetterPress Plate using black BetterPress ink on the Porcelain BetterPress Cotton Card Stock. Then, I die-cut it with coordinating dies. I attached the postage-shaped frame with foam stickers for a dimensional effect, and I also attached the hen with foam stickers. Additionally, I used foam stickers to attach the sentiments for added dimension. I always enjoy watercoloring; it gives me relaxation. I hope these cards inspire many of you. Happy crafting! XOXO, Heejung
