Three Delightful Farm-Themed Cards
Hello Crafty Friends, Heejung Hunsberger here! I’m thrilled to be returning as a guest designer for Spellbinders this month again!
If you’d like to get to know me better, visit my blog or follow me on Instagram. Additionally, I have a YouTube channel where I regularly post video tutorials. I created three charming farm-themed cards featuring the On the Farm Collection. I adore all of the animals in the collection.
Good night, Ewe
First, I die-cut an arch using the Perfect Touch Arch die on white cardstock, blending blue tones with blending tools to create the night sky. I applied water-based dye ink and sprayed water over the blended arch panel.
Also, I splatted white ink over the arch panels to make a little star.
I die-cut the picket fence on white cardstock using the Die-D-Lites Picket Fence Die. I trimmed the fence into two pieces and attached each side of the card.
I also die-cut the grass edges from the Landscape Edges die using Peridot cardstock. I created three layers of the grass edges and added color shades to them with the large blending tool blush.
I die-cut the sheep and flower using the Counting Sheep Clear stamp and die set. I stamped the sentiments on black card stock, applied white embossing powder, and heat-set it with a heat tool.
I attached the sentiment with foam tape to the card.
Seize The Mooment Card
I color-shaded the white card stock in the Sea Breeze ink with the large blending blushes to create the sky.
I die-cut the clouds from the Tigger & Eeyore dies from the Say Cheese Classic Pooh Collection.
And I die-cut the grass edges with the LandScape Edges die set on the Peridot Card Stock.
I die-cut the ranch fences using the Rustic Garden dies from Country Road Collection.
Die-cut the goose, grander from the Honk Honk Clear Stamp and Die set and die-cut the cow from the Hay There Clear and Die set.
I also use the chick and egg nest from the Spring Chicken Clear Stamp and Die set.
I stamped the sentiment from the Hay There Clear Stamp on black card stock, applied white embossing powder, and heat-set it with a heat tool.
Farm Outside the Box Card
I die-cut an arch from the Perfect Touch Arches die set and color-blended the Sea Breeze ink with the blending brushes. I also die-cut hills and grass edges with the Land Scape Edges die set.
To create the box features, I cut the Peridot cardstock to 6 ¾ inches in length and die-cut the grass edges. I scored at half an inch, one and a half inches, 5 ¼ inches, and 6 ¼ inches, folded along the scored lines, and attached it to the bottom of the arch panel. Additionally, I created a strip measuring 4 ¾ inches, die-cut the grass edges, and scored at half an inch and 4 ¼ inches, then folded the scored line and attached the strip in the box.
I die-cut the sheep from the Counting Sheep die, a pig from the Honk Honk die, and a hen and chick from the Spring Chicken dies.
The final size of the card is 5 x 4 ¾ inches.
I gold hot foiled the sentiment from the Cheers Sentiments BP plate.
You can write a personal message on the back of the card.
I had so much fun to play with this collection.
Thank you for reading my post. I hope this post inspires you.
Happy crafting!
XOXO, Heejung
