From Italy with Love: Personalizing Your Cards with Spellbinders’ Sentiments for All Languages
Hi, crafty friends. Angela Tombari here today. I’m so excited to be guest on Spellbinders blog to introduce you to the new international release, which includes sentiments in various languages – including Italian! As a paper crafter, I’m overjoyed to finally have sentiments that perfectly capture special moments in my own language. I’ve created three cards that I hope will inspire you to use these fantastic products in your own projects.
he first card I created is a dimensional and elegant design featuring beautiful white flowers with a pop of color in their centers. These delicate blooms were made using the Floral Spray Die Set, and I absolutely love how they add depth and sophistication to the card.
For the sentiment, I used the BetterPress Italian Sentiments stamp set. However, instead of using the BetterPress system, I decided to experiment with a golden twist. I applied Aura gold foil with the Glimmer Hot Foil machine and I used the negative to create a stunning, shiny sentiment that complements the refined floral design perfectly.
This card feels timeless yet fresh, and the combination of the florals and metallic details makes it ideal for celebrating special occasions in style.
The second card is a vibrant and cheerful design, perfect for brightening any occasion. To create this card, I used the Italian Everyday Sentiments Die Set to cut the phrase Tanti Auguri in a variety of colors from the Happy Day Assorted Pack and the Bright Sampler Pack.
The panel of the card is cut using the Nested Postage Labels & Tags Die Set, adding a subtle but elegant detail to the edges. To enhance the colorful effect, I cut small strips from the same cardstock colors and adhered them at the top and bottom of the panel for a playful touch that ties the design together.
The clean and minimal layout allows the rainbow-colored sentiments to take center stage, making this card a fun and modern way to celebrate any joyful occasion!
The third card is a beautiful shaker design, combining elegance and fun with sparkling silver sequins. The frame was cut using the Nested Postage Labels & Tags Die Set in white cardstock, which creates a refined border that contrasts perfectly with the soft pink background.
For the sentiment, I used the phrase Buon Compleanno (Happy Birthday) in silver cardstock layered over white. The shimmer of the silver adds a sophisticated touch, making the sentiment stand out amidst the sparkling sequins.
This shaker card is perfect for a special occasion, adding movement and sparkle while maintaining a timeless and elegant look. It’s an easy way to create a wow effect with minimal effort using the right tools and materials!
Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today! I hope these cards have inspired you to explore creative ways to use the new international sentiments collection from Spellbinders. Whether it’s in Italian, French, Spanish, German, or any other language, these sentiments are a wonderful way to add a personal and meaningful touch to your projects. Happy crafting, and I can’t wait to see what you create!
