Shaped Scene Cards Using The On The Farm Collection
Hello! Jen Kotas here today with three cards featuring the On The Farm Collection. There are five different very detailed animal die sets that include sentiment stamps perfect for that animal.
Die cut the largest shape die twice to create the card base. Score at about 1/4” from top and adhere together above the score line only. I used Make a Wish Arch Labels, Emerald Cut Labels and Tag and Perfect Touch Arches Etched Dies.
To create the embossed background, cut the same card shape from blue, white and green cardstock. I used the second largest that I used for the card bases. Next die cut the grass from the Landscape Edges Etched Dies then line that section up to the white cardstock, tape die in place and remove the green cardstock. Tape the cloud die then die cut. Repeat this with the blue cardstock. Everything should fit together like a puzzle. Use low tack tape to hold it all together and emboss with the Bold Floral Embossing Folder. Adhere to their corresponding cards.
Die cut the animals and accessories from Spring Chicken, Ham it Up, Counting Sheep and Hay There Clear Stamp and Die Sets out of various cardstock colors. Assemble and adhere die cuts to card using liquid glue and thin foam squares. Add white gel pen highlights.
Die-cut Speech Bubbles Etched Dies to fit both the sentiment and the space available. I used the back of one die cut so it faced the right direction for my critter. Stamp the sentiments from the stamp and die sets used above on the speech bubble. One sentiment did not fit so I cut the stamp and stacked them instead. The stamp will fit back together for future stamping.
