Floral Wedding Card Trio

Hello Crafty Friends, Heejung Hunsberger here! I’m thrilled to be returning as a guest designer for Spellbinders this month again! I love the Copperplate Collection series. Its elegant, luxurious font beautifully complements the flowers. I was thrilled that this collection had a wedding-day theme. If you’d like to get to know me better, visit my blog or follow me on Instagram. Additionally, I have a YouTube channel where I regularly post video tutorials. On Your Wedding Day Card I love Spellbinder’s Colorwheel Card Stock. The Ocean Side card stock is one of my favorites. I gold hot foiled the On Your Wedding Day BetterPress Plate on the Ocean Side Card Stock. I used the matted gold foil for this; it’s my favorite for hot foiling because it coordinates any color card stock. I die-cut the flowers from the Fresh Picked ButterCups die set on Rainforest, white, and Beewax card stocks. I arranged the flowers around the hot-foiled letter and trimmed the excess with scissors. I attached some of the flowers using ¼ white foam adhesive squares for a dimensional effect. I completed it with gold embellishments. To the Lovely Couple Card I used the same cardstock for the On the Wedding Day card mentioned above. I hot-foiled the magnolias from the Spring Magnolias BP plates on the Ocean Side cardstock with Satin Pewter foil. I also hot-foiled the Lovely Couple BetterPress Plate onto white cardstock using Satin Pewter Foil. The Satin Pewter foil is similar to silver but appears warmer than silver. I die-cut the foiled letter using the Fresh Picked Label die, and I also die-cut the same shape in a larger size on the vellum paper. I pressed the magnolias onto BP cotton card stock using black ink, then colored them with markers and die-cut them with the coordinating die. I attached the sentiments panel to the card using foam adhesive and adhered the magnolias to the edges label. I completed it with silver embellishments. Always Forever Card I hot-foiled the Mirrored Arch Nested Sprigs Press Plate onto indigo cardstock with matted gold foil. Also, I hot-foiled the Always Forever Press Plate on white card stock using the matted gold foil. I die-cut the hot foiled sentiment using the Mirrored arch Label dies. I attached the sentiment panel with foam adhesive for a dimensional effect. I die-cut the flower from the Garden Wreath Add-On die on Tutu card stock and attached it to the side of the sentiments. I’m thrilled that Spellbinders offers this collection for wedding cards. I hope these cards inspire many of you. Happy crafting! XOXO, Heejung
