Step by Step Tutorial: Merry Moments Collection Christmas Card
Hello, crafty friends! Brenda Noelke here from My PaperCut Creations! I’m thrilled to be back on the Spellbinders blog sharing this step-by-step tutorial featuring the Merry Moments Collection today!

The largest die in the A2 Matting Basics A Card Creator Die Set was cut from a panel of plaid patterned paper included in the Merry Moments Paper Pad using the Platinum SIX Machine with Universal Plate System with the following plates (bottom to top): A, B, C, patterned paper, C.

Next, the fourth largest die in the Essential Stylish Ovals Etched Die Set was taped to a panel of Pomegranate cardstock with the Best Ever Craft Tape. The fifth largest die in the same die set was taped to a panel of Neenah 80lb. Solar White cardstock, and they were die-cut.

The white oval was embossed with the Christmas Cameos 3D Embossing Folder using the following plates (bottom to top): A, embossing folder, D.

The dies in the Gifting Bows Etched Die Set were taped to Pomegranate, Poppy, and Seaside cardstock, along with the pink and green cardstock in the Merry Moments Card Kit. The matte metallic cardstock is from the Gold Treasured Cardstock Assorted Pack. I like to die-cut several of each, so I have plenty to work with when I’m figuring out placement for my design.

The Craft Stax Trays help keep all the pieces in one place.

I added some shading to the dies using Evergreen Bough, Worn Lipstick, and Fired Brick Distress Inks with Mini Blending Brushes.

The plaid layer was adhered to an A2 panel of dark green cardstock, then the ovals were layered and adhered with liquid glue.

The die-cuts were arranged and adhered to the background, using foam squares on the middle of the bow and some of the flowers. The other die-cuts were adhered with liquid glue.

A white gel pen was used to add some highlights to the ornaments and berries.

Two of the smallest Pink Color Essential Gems were adhered to the centers of the largest red flowers to finish off the card.

Here is a close-up of the details…
This Gifting Bows Etched Die Set will definitely get a workout on my holiday cards this year!!
