Hi there, this is Annie Williams, and today I’m thrilled to be back to create this sweet Halloween card step-by-step with you, made with the Day 8 die set from the 13 Days of Craft-O-Ween 2025 Advent Calendar.  Today’s surprise die set is this fun skull mug with tons of cute accessories, and we’ll be using it to create a quick and easy card that is perfect for sending a spooky hello!

Die-cut the mug and accessories out of various colors of cardstock using the Day 8 die set. Here, I used white, Anchor, Raven, Carrot, Peridot, Violet, and Acorn for all of the different pieces in the set.  Assemble the die-cuts with liquid glue.

Trim a piece of Violet Cardstock to 4” x 5.25” and emboss it using the Scribbled Letter Embossing Folder.  (I thought the handwriting on this folder was perfect for spooky cards!)

Die cut Carrot and white cardstock using the Nested Postage Labels & Tag Die Set.

Stamp a sentiment from the Craft-O-Ween Stamp Set onto the bottom of the white die-cut panel using black ink.  (A MISTI can really help with centering sentiments on die-cuts!)

Adhere the embossed panel onto a top-folding A2-sized white card base with a tape runner.  Mount the stamped panel onto the orange postage edge panel with tape runner and then pop them both up in the middle of the card front with foam squares.

Pop the spooky mug up on top of the frame with more foam squares.  (Reverse tweezers are great for picking and placing die-cuts!)
