Texture & Foliage Collection Cards with Suzanne Hue
Hello Crafters, it’ Suzanne Hue from A Creative Muse. I’m thrilled to be on the Spellbinders blog featuring my fabulous, new Texture & Foliage Collection!
If you love the original Beautiful Wreaths Collection, you’ll be excited with this expansion on making wreaths, swags, accents, and more. There are new elements, which includes fall, more holiday foliage, and birthday fun! And you can definitely incorporate the Beautiful Wreaths Collection seamlessly with the Texture & Foliage Collection.
Also, there are 2 wonderful subtle textured 3D embossing folders and a Birthday themed BetterPress sentiment & die set!
My first card features Seasonal Wreath Foliage Dies, Birthday Wishes Sentiments Press Plate & Die, and Linen 3D Embossing Folder.

This is the ColorWheel color palette for my first project: Oceanside, Peridot, Poppy, Beeswax, Saffron, Tuscan, Raven.
I love how the Oceanside ColorWheel cardstock created a great card base for this 5×7 inch birthday card, which has lots of room for people to sign the interior of the card.

The Seasonal Wreath Foliage Dies was cut out of Peridot ColorWheel cardstock. And then inked with a forest green ink. I laid the branches in a swag shape, following the contour of Essential Stylish Ovals Dies in Oceanside ColorWheel cardstock. I left plenty of space for both sets of sentiments.
I also die-cut some flowers from the Garden Wreath Add-Ons dies, in Poppy, Beeswax, Saffron & Tuscan. Then glued them on top of the swag branch.
For the 5×7 cardbase, I embossed the Linen 3D Embossing Folder with Oceanside ColorWheel cardstock. And for the sentiments, I used “It’s your special day” from Birthday Wishes Sentiments Press Plate & Die and the “Happy Birthday” die from Birthday Wreath Add-Ons dies.
Next up is another card featuring the Seasonal Wreath Foliage Dies and Linen 3D Embossing Folder.

This is the ColorWheel color palette for this project: Poppy, Indigo, Pomegranate.
The Linen 3D Embossing Folder was used to emboss Indigo ColorWheel cardstock.
The eucalyptus die from Seasonal Wreath Foliage Dies was cut many times with white cardstock and then ink blended with a spruce green ink. Then shaped into an oval wreath. Pomegranate ColorWheel cardstock was used for the berries on the branches. The poinsettias used to decorate the wreath were from the Christmas Wreath Add-Ons Dies.

The sentiment is from the Seasonal Wreath Foliage Dies was diecut both then Indigo ColorWheel cardstock & Brushed Gold Cardstock.
My final card features the Autumn Greetings Wreaths Dies and Dimpled 3D Embossing Folder.

The ColorWheel color palette for my final project: Alabaster, Carrot, Terra Cotta, Merlot, Cinnamon, Saffron, Tuscan, Fern, Acorn, Truffle, Classic white.
I embossed an A2 panel in Alabaster ColorWheel cardstock using the Dimpled 3D Embossing Folder. Then I cut a small circle using Classic White ColorWheel cardstock using Everlasting Circles Dies. I ink-blended fall colors using Distress Oxide inks. Then I adorned the edge with many layers of twigs from the Autumn Greetings Wreaths Dies.

I die-cut many colors of fall pumpkins, leaves & gourd from the Autumn Greetings Wreaths Dies and did light ink blending. I did ground my fall design with two sunflowers from the Build-A-Wreath Dies. For the sentiment, I used Truffle ColorWheel cardstock & matte Gold foil from Treasured Cardstock.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I adore this latest addition to help you build beautiful wreaths all year long! I can’t wait to see how you’re inspired.
