Spooktacular Collection Introduction with Simon Hurley

Hi there crafty friends, it’s Simon Hurley here – and I’m beyond excited to introduce you to my newest collection with Spellbinders called Spooktacular! If you know me, you know I love Halloween… but not the creepy, haunted, give-you-nightmares kind. No, thank you! I prefer my ghosts smiling, my bats blushing, and my pumpkins wearing party hats.

Spooktacular Collection Introduction with Simon Hurley

Spooktacular was born out of my love for all things cute and festive during the fall and Halloween season. It brings together adorable dress-up ghosts, a black cat that doubles as a witch, and gothic damask designs that make your cards feel more treat than trick. I’ve always believed Halloween can be fun without being frightening—and this collection captures that spirit perfectly.

Boo Crew

A frightfully adorable die set featuring three playful ghosts that layer together for the perfect pop of dimension! Dress them up in tiny hats, bowties, and trick-or-treat pumpkin baskets to create the cutest little ghost gang around. Whether they’re haunting your cards or just out for candy, these charming spirits are here to make your Halloween projects absolutely spooktacular.

Bewitched

It is a purr-fectly charming die set starring the cutest little black cat you’ve ever seen! With big, expressive eyes and a witch hat to complete the look, this mischievous feline is ready to cast a spell on your Halloween projects.

This design was inspired by my best friend’s real-life black cat, who’s equal parts adorable and troublemaker… especially when there’s food involved!

The Damask 3D Embossing Folder

It is the ultimate background for adding a touch of gothic elegance to your Halloween projects. With its rich, textured design, it brings just the right amount of spooky sophistication to your cards and crafts. But don’t box it into Halloween—this versatile pattern pairs beautifully with florals, vintage elements, and elegant themes, making it a go-to texture for projects all year round. It’s dramatic, detailed, and oh-so-stunning!
