Introducing the Spellbinders Monthly Cardmaking Challenge | January 2026 Glam
We’re excited to introduce something brand new on the Spellbinders blog — the Spellbinders Monthly Cardmaking Challenge! This challenge is all about celebrating handmade cards, connecting with fellow crafters, and inspiring creativity using the Spellbinders products you already love.
Whether you’re a longtime Spellbinders fan or just getting started, this monthly cardmaking challenge is designed to be fun, inspiring, and community-driven.
We’re launching this as a test for several months, beginning January 5th, and we’d love for you to join us and help shape the future of this creative community feature.
January Challenge Details
Challenge Dates: January 5th – 26th.
For our very first Spellbinders Monthly Cardmaking Challenge, we’re turning up the sparkle! January Glam is all about foiling, metallics, and anything shiny.
Create at least one brand-new handmade card using current Spellbinders products and add a touch of glam wherever you like. Think:

Glimmer Hot Foil details

Metallic cardstock and specialty papers
-
Shimmering accents, elegant shine, and luxe finishes
Any style, any occasion is welcome — as long as it’s a card, it’s new, and it features Spellbinders products currently available in our store. If it sparkles, shines, or glimmers… it’s perfect for January Glam
How to Enter the Spellbinders Challenge
Participating is easy and flexible:

Create a new card

Must be a new project created for this challenge

Use current Spellbinders products (dies, stamps, Press & Foil plates, embossing folders, Wax Seals, etc.)

Share your project online
-
Post on your blog, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, or other social platforms

Link your project
-
Add your entry using the Link Tool at the bottom of this post

You may submit up to five card projects per month, giving you multiple chances to participate and be eligible to win.
Prizes & How Winners Are Selected
We believe creativity should be rewarded!

2500 Spellbinders Rewards Points per winner (awarded to a Spellbinders USA or UK store account)
-
1 winner for every 50 card entries
-
Maximum of 4 winners per challenge

Winners are selected randomly, so every entry has an equal chance
The more projects shared, the more winners we’ll have — so invite your crafty friends to join the fun!

I’m 73 and not electronically inclined my question is there a way to snail mail these cards for entry into these challenges?

Hi Karen, thank you so much for asking — and we’re so happy you’d like to participate! 💕 At this time, entries for our challenges do need to be submitted online using the Link Tool, and we’re not able to accept mailed (snail mail) entries. That said, if you have a friend or family member who could help you upload a photo of your card, that would work perfectly. We truly appreciate you crafting along with us and hope you’ll still join in whenever you can! 💖
