Spring Cardmaking with Rub-Ons | Spellbinders Spring Blessings & Little Leaps Cards
Hello, crafters!! Brenda Noelke here from My PaperCut Creations! I’m so excited to be a guest on the Spellbinders blog today!! I used the Spring Blessings and Little Leaps Rub-Ons to create three beautiful cards!! I haven’t used rub-ons since my scrapbooking days, but those were mainly sentiments and letters!! They’ve come so far!!

HAPPY EASTER
I began by die-cutting the third largest die in the A2 Matting Basics A Die Set from Alabaster cardstock. I applied the bunny and sentiment from the Spring Blessings Rub-On Pack with the included applicator. I wrapped twine around the panel and tied it into a bow on the left side. A panel of Cascade cardstock was die-cut with the middle decorative edge die in the Linear Touch Rectangle and Tags Die Set, and the two panels were adhered together with liquid glue.

A panel of Chiffon cardstock was embossed with the Woven 3D Embossing Folder. It was trimmed slightly and adhered to a white A2 card base. The focal point panel was adhered with foam squares.

I die-cut the tiny flowers using dies from the Wild Violet and Ladybugs Die Set. I adhered them over the bow, then added a Pink Color Essential Gem to the center of each flower to finish off the card.

HAVE A TOAD-ALLY TERRIFIC BIRTHDAY
My second card was created with the oh-so-adorable Little Leaps Rub-On Sheets.

I began by die-cutting a panel of Wild Berry cardstock and white cardstock with dies from the Nested Postage Labels & Tag Die Set. The cute frog image and sentiments were applied to the panel using the applicator. I also added a floral from the Spring Blessings Rob-On Sheets to the right side to balance the design. The panels were adhered together with liquid glue.

A panel of Seaside cardstock was embossed with the dotted side of the Polka Dot & Posy Duo 3D Embossing Folder. It was trimmed slightly and adhered to an A2 white top-folding card base. The postage panel was popped up with foam squares.
Several Crystal Mix Color Essential Gems add lots of sparkle.

WISHING YOU A BEAUTIFUL SPRING
My last card features the stunning floral from the Spring Blessings Rub-Ons.

I die-cut a panel of Chiffon cardstock and white cardstock with dies in the Essential Stylish Ovals Die Set. The floral from the Spring Blessings Rub-On Pack was applied to the Chiffon layer, then the two ovals were adhered together with liquid glue.

The sentiment is also included in the Spring Blessing Rub-Ons. I die-cut white and Truffle cardstock with a punch, then applied the sentiment to the white tag. The tags were adhered together, slightly offset. I tied tan and white baker’s twine around the panels three times, threaded it through the holes in the tags, and tied it into a bow. I secured the tags in place with foam squares.

A panel of Sicily cardstock was embossed with the Polka Dot & Posy Duo 3D Embossing Folder. It was trimmed and adhered to an A2 white card base. The ovals were adhered with liquid glue. Fashion Oyster Pearls add a touch of elegance and finish off this card.
